Archiving/Dramaturgy/Script Development

I specialize in working with interdisciplinary artists and setting intentions in development and pre-production, helping to shape the landscape of creative endeavors. I have written liner notes, consulted on narrative XR and VR projects, and conducted interviews that give deep insight into artistry for internationally recognized publications. I am happy to meet my clients anywhere they find themselves in a creative process.

Archiving

This work shapes the future of our cultural legacy. Archiving and research present boundless opportunities for artists. I have worked alongside archivists at La MAMA, The Guthrie Theatre, and with the Research Center for Arts and Culture at The Actors Fund. Considering not just the technical aspects and outcomes, I see archiving as a way to change perceptions, collaborating with the past to encourage many potential futures.

Dramaturgy

As a dramaturg, I respond to answer questions posed by actors, writers, and directors to enrich the background and environment of a stage play or performance.  Alchemising adaptations and historical texts, I have created entirely new works. I worked as the dramaturg for The Franca Rame Project, developed from the collected work of Italian theater artist Franca Rame. Click here for testimonials.

Script Development

Supporting other writers (most people can be writers, all people have stories) in their intentions, is so important to me. Script and story development for me means accompanying and aiding processes for rewrites, grant applications, and story structure documents while keeping set intentions as the central focus for my feedback.
